Product Review: HANAair Professional Hair Dryer

I was recently given the opportunity to test out the HANAair Professional Hair Dryer,
and I can honestly say this is the best hair dryer I have ever used!
It has a 2300 Wattage Power for a faster drying time. Using the low setting, it took me less than
ten minutes to fully dry my towel-dried hair, which is perfect for me and my lazy beauty routine!
It is also very easy to operate. There are two different fan settings, three heat settings, and a
cold shot button at the top to easily switch between warm and cool air.

Another great feature is the Pure Tourmaline Crystals and a Ceramic Heater,
which adds shine and keeps your hair looking healthy. My hair usually gets
a little frizzy even when I let it air dry, but this left my hair looking
so sleek. I didn't even have to use my flat iron (HUGE time-saver!).
And the Ion Technology helps reduce static electricity, which is a typical
problem for me, especially during the colder months, so I definitely plan
on using this hair dryer a LOT this winter!

Today I came home to find this lovely little care package waiting for me! I was contacted
by Misikko to review one of their hair dryers, the HANA Air Premiere Hair Dryer, and I was
delightfully surprised to find these few extra goodies! Of course I was too excited to wait to use this hair dryer,
so I had to test it out right away. MAN, this thing is powerful! My hair was dry in just a few minutes.
I can't wait to use it more and try out the other settings. Stay tuned for the full review!

DIY Fringe Bag

Remember this beaded hairclip? Well, I finally got around to sticking it on a purse!
And I added some feathers, fringe, and a few charms to the sides.
Lately I've been so obsessed with all things fringe, especially the Roberto Cavalli bags.
I'm thinkin about adding more fringe to this bag. I ran out while I was making it, but I just
ordered some more from eBay. I'll post more pictures when it's completely done!

I love this website wholesale-dress.net for making cheap copies of designer styles, but why make
leggings out of fabric that doesn't stretch? Seriously, don't buy these unless you're 80 pounds.
I had such a hard time getting these on, and I definitely wouldn't wear them out for fear of tearing them.

I recently received a few items from the Samii Ryan online store, this "Hungry Like a Wolf" t-shirt and the two beautiful handmade necklaces below. The necklaces are all a little different and they're sent to you at random, so there's a bit of surprise as to which one you'll get. And I love that they are all unique, so it's like having a one-of-a-kind piece.

But what she's probably most known for is her feather hairclips (You may have seen Ke$ha wearing the purple one on New Year's Eve w/ Ryan Seacrest). I plan on buying one of those soon. I really like the white quill feathers and the peasant and peacock feathers. I think those are the two that would look best with my hair color. Everything is also pretty reasonably priced, even for a thrift shopper like myself. Right now, this arrowhead necklace is on sale for only $5!

I know I haven't made any new outfit posts in a while. Things were a little crazy over the holidays and then all this bad weather prevented me from getting to Angie's house to take pictures... Ahh, it's been a little frustrating. But here's a quick post. I took these with my crappy camera. It sucks.. using the flash makes you look older, but the lighting in my apartment is horrible! I'm getting a new camera soon, I swear.

One of my New Year's resolutions is to stop being lazy and to write more on my blog instead of just posting pictures. So there you go. There's a paragraph :)

The essential black lace-up boot

The perfect pair of casual shoes. I love the chunky heel!

I have a high arch and abnormally long toes which makes it hard for me to last all day in heels, so these are perfect for work!

I think these are my favorite. The closest thing to Lita's that I'll probably ever get!

I recently had the pleasure of reading the new book, The
ELLEments of Personal Style by Joe Zee and Maggie Bullock.
This book is filled with so many inspiring photos, great
fashion advice, and some really interesting facts about these
celebrities that I never knew before, like Christina Hendricks
was a goth as a teen. It's so hard to picture the Mad Men
actress wearing black lipstick and Dr. Martens.
And Olivia Wilde was married and lived in a "graffiti-covered,
IKEA-outfitted school bus." I think that's just awesome,
so very hippie-ish!

My favorite interview was with Erin Wasson. I found out that
I have a lot in common with her, and I love her even more
after reading this! She describes herself as a "walking contradiction,"
wearing sweatpants and heels. I love to mix different styles,
like wearing a floral dress and a black leather biker jacket, or
baggy, distressed jeans with a flirty, ruffled top.

She loves silver and turquoise, also my favorite metal and stone.
She says,"I just get up in the morning and get dressed. I don't think about it.
If I'm feeling lazy, I'm going to wear sweatpants." This basically
describes my mornings too, except that my lazy outfit is jeans and
a t-shirt.

She also gives some really good fashion tips:
"Never stress fashion. It's fleeting. You miss a trend one season,
there's always a new one around the corner."
"Always wear jewelry that can double as a weapon. Never know when
it can come in handy."

DIY: Cross / Peace Sign Necklace

I had a sudden impulse to start making jewelry. I made this necklace last night, and it's really easy to do. Just use the connector rings to place the charms on the chain. I left 5 chain links in between the crosses...

... and tada!

I can't believe it's August already. That means summer is almost over and I haven't
been to the beach yet! Hopefully I'll be able to get there by the end of the month.
These were capris that I cut into shorts. I hate capris. They cut your legs in half
and make you look short. I think you should only wear them if you're really tall.
